Flower Portraits by Lois
July 12, 2007 | Filed Under Flowers, Family

As most of you know, I am an avid gardener. I love my flower gardens, and truly enjoy observing my gardens through the seasons. Watching plants grow from seed or even observing perennials emerge from the soil, is something that I have enjoyed for years.
I discontinued my work and art of designing with pressed flowers almost two years ago. However, I have renewed my interest in Photography. I have found that flowers closely represent the many cycles of life. I have chosen to photograph these flower portraits, and to reveal the flowers through their cycles. It is a new way to share my passion and to create. My personal journey through life is not complete unless I am creating. So if you are so inclined, you can view my observations of nature and the life cycles at my gallery: loisadomite.com/gallery.
My gallery will also display family photos. I hope to post some very old family photos through to the present. It will be a little bit of our family history. Also, you will find our travel photos. Bill and I treasure our time spent traveling. Wherever I travel near or far, I find a little more of myself.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing this blog with me. This very special site was designed and created for me by my son-in-law, Gordy, with some help from my son, Allen. I would like to extend my gratitude to them for not only making this site possible but to leading me into this new technology.
Thank you, Lois
